The Super Sedan 30/30 will be held this Saturday night at the Lismore Showgrounds in Northern New South Wales, with a quality field entered for the first leg of the event.
Australian Champion Darren Kane, who last weekend won the New South Wales Championship, has paired up with Marc Giancola of Western Australia, who has won the last two rounds of the WA Super Sedan Summer Series.
The unique event, where two drivers share one car, also sees drivers from other categories compete, with Steve Jordan pairing with Australian Dirt Modified Champion, Peter Britten. Meanwhile Chris Jensen is paired with former National Modified Production Champion Todd Doyle.
The pairing of Lucas Roberts and Brad Smith will also be a strong combination, as will Matt Pascoe and Jamie McHugh.
Each driver will compete in heat races, gaining points to determine starting positions in the first of the two 30 Lap Feature Races.
The second leg of the 30/30 will be held at Toowoomba on Saturday, 12 December 2009.
