Qualifying positions will be determined by the above point’s allocation. In the event of a tie for a position, passing points & highest position finishing will be used to determine the positions with the driver with the greatest number of passing points & highest finishing position in their first heat being given the higher starting position. Passing points will not be used in calculating qualifying positions, only for tie breaking a point’s deadlock. Passing points are calculated from the position qualified by a driver prior to a race versus the finishing position of that driver.
"A and B Dash"At the completion of the qualifying heat races, all the drivers’ points are accumulated and the top 12 point scorers then race in the A and B Dash
Cars qualifying 1,3,5,7,9,11, will race in the A Dash for the inside row in the A Main... The finishing order of the dash will determine the position where the drivers start in the night’s big event - the A-Main. E.g. the winner will start out of position
1; the second place getter will be in position 3, the third in position 5, etc etc Cars qualifying 2,4,6,8,10,12 will race in the B Dash for the outside row in the A Main.
