As a foundation sponsor of the
Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series, the team at Oval
Express Magazine have been terrific supporters since the series
began in 2006. Series organisers are very pleased to confirm that
this support will continue throughout the fifth-anniversary
2009/2010 season with the expansion of the Oval Express Best
Presented Car and Crew Award to include a fantastic end-of-season
prize. This award recognises the efforts of drivers and crew who
strive to maintain the highest standards of presentation.
Published monthly, Oval Express features in-depth coverage of all
facets of the speedway industry, including event previews and
reviews, race reports, interviews, driver profiles, feature articles
and technical features from some of Australias best motorsport
journalists and photographers. Oval Express has consistently
included expansive coverage of the Carline NSSS and participating
competitors.
An Oval Express Best Presented Car and Crew Award will be
presented at each round of the series. All drivers at each round
will be eligible for the award, with the standards of presentation
of each car and crew being evaluated throughout each race meeting to
determine the nightly winner. The winner of the Oval Express Best
Presented Car and Crew at each round of the 2009/2010 Carline
Mufflers National Super Sedan Series will win a 12-month
subscription to Oval Express Magazine.
In a very exciting development, the overall winner of the Oval
Express Best Presented Car and Crew Award for the series will pick
up an awesome suite of prizes that includes a full page colour
'Expressions' feature in Oval Express magazine and a minimum of
1,000 run-on posters for advertising/autograph purposes. Valued at
more than $1200, this prize package is a fantastic opportunity for
the winning driver to promote their team and associated sponsors.
Last season, the competition for this award at each round was
intense and the addition of the overall series prize will no doubt
ensure even higher standards of preparation and presentation among
participating teams at every event.
