Modified Productions In WA on the Way up

In another exciting development, Metabo Australia today was announced as the Major Sponsor of the West Australian Modified Drivers Association (WAMDA) series for 2008/2009, which is a huge gain into for the section in the State and Australia wide. The Modified Sedan section in Western Australia is on the way up with now more than 35 registered drivers, with almost all taking part in the Metabo series.

Mark Williams from Metabo is very excited about what the partnership with WAMDA can give "it places the Metabo as brand in area we never look". Metabo brand will not only be supported by website and car signage, they have built a custom display trailer which will follow the Championship Series across the state. WAMDA President Jason Pearce said "that the support and enthusiasm from Metabo is great and timing could not be any better".

Metabo manufactures electric power tools for today's professionals - who want to be sure they can rely on their equipment tomorrow as well. This commitment has made Metabo a household name in more than 100 countries. Metabo originated 75 years ago and concentrated initially on manufacturing hand held equipment. The name Metabo came from the abbreviated name of one such tool - the Metallbohrdreher ( a metal twist drill). Nowadays Metabo manufactures electric power tools for almost every conceivable application - from wood and metal work right through to garden tools.

More exciting announcements in relation to the eight round series will be made in coming days, with the first round to be held in Geraldton, Saturday 8 November 2008.
